Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DigitalNeuma (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use digitalneuma.com and related services, in line with the GDPR and applicable EU law.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is DigitalNeuma, ul. Żwirki i Wigury 5, 32-400 Myślenice, Poland. Contact: info@digitalneuma.com, phone +48 530 318 786.
2. Scope
This policy applies to data collected through our website, contact forms, email correspondence, and similar channels where we act as controller. It does not govern processing carried out solely on behalf of our clients under separate contracts (e.g. custom software projects), which are covered by those agreements.
3. Categories of data
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Identification and contact data: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title.
- Communication content: messages you send via forms or email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Cookie and similar technologies data as described in our Cookie Policy.
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
We process personal data for:
- Responding to inquiries and providing information — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in communicating with prospects and clients; where required, your consent or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Operating and securing the website — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in IT security, fraud prevention, and service availability.
- Analytics and audience measurement — legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where cookies or similar tools require it; you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
5. Recipients and processors
We use trusted service providers (processors) who process data on our instructions, for example: hosting, email delivery, analytics (if you consent), and IT support. We require them to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures.
Where tools are provided by companies outside the EEA (e.g. Google LLC in the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, supplementary measures.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: typically until the inquiry is completed plus a limited follow-up period, unless a longer period is required for legal claims, accounting, or law. Technical logs may be kept for shorter security-related periods. Cookie retention is described in the Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability (where applicable), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@digitalneuma.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
8. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you in connection with this website.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly. Material changes may be communicated via the website or email where appropriate.
